Peter Finch & Sean Walsh Ireland golf tour

Follow in the footsteps of YouTube golf favourites Peter Finch and Sean Walsh on a six-day, five-night journey through County Kerry. This carefully planned tour combines two nights in Killarney with three nights in Tralee, alongside a selection of celebrated links courses that showcase the character, scenery and challenge of south-west Ireland.

Your trip begins with a stay at the Killarney Avenue Hotel before taking on Dooks Golf Links, a traditional course set beside Dingle Bay with views across the water towards the surrounding mountains. From there, you will travel west to play Dingle Golf Links at Ceann Sibéal, where the rugged Atlantic coastline provides a memorable backdrop to the round.

The second half of the tour is based at The Rose Hotel in Tralee. Here, you will play Tralee Golf Club, Arnold Palmer’s acclaimed links course, before rounding off the itinerary at the Old Course at Ballybunion Golf Club. Regarded as one of Ireland’s great links experiences, ranked No. 10 in the world by Golf Digest, Ballybunion provides a fitting finale with its natural dunes, exposed fairways and dramatic coastal setting.

With comfortable accommodation, straightforward travel between each stop and four distinctive rounds of golf, this is an ideal way to experience the same Kerry route as Sean and Peter. The itinerary can also be tailored around your group’s preferred travel dates and requirements.

Peter Finch - “A road trip through the west coast of Ireland is one of the best golf trips that money can buy. Some of the best links' courses in the world, unbeatable hospitality, incredible views everywhere you look and lots of Guinness … what’s not to love!?”

Sean Walsh - “ This is worth every bit of the journey over from America and this is truly a bucket list golf trip that ticks every box! It’s hard to describe just how good this golf trip is and Golfbreaks look after everything so you can just concentrate on your game on the links!."

Things to do

Killarney National Park

Located just 20 minutes from The Killarney Avenue, Killarney National Park is Ireland’s first national park, established in 1932. Spanning over 102 square kilometers, the park is home to lush woodlands, shimmering lakes, and Ireland’s only native red deer herd. Visitors can explore the grand Victorian-era Muckross House, with its elegant period rooms and stunning views over the Lakes of Killarney.

Trad Irish Music & Pub Experience

A visit to Ireland wouldn’t be complete without an evening of traditional music and warm pub atmosphere. In towns like Killarney, local pubs come alive with live trad sessions – spontaneous gatherings of musicians playing fiddles, flutes, bodhráns, and guitars. These cosy, welcoming venues offer the perfect setting to enjoy a pint of Guinness or a glass of Irish whiskey while soaking up the lively rhythms and rich storytelling that define Irish music.

Pig's lane

Pig’s Lane is an atmospheric underground bar in central Killarney, serving creative cocktails, a wide choice of Irish whiskey and small plates. Located beneath College Street, it has a relaxed, speakeasy-style feel that makes it an ideal spot to unwind after a day on the course. Its dedicated whiskey parlour offers an extensive collection, while regular live music and DJs add to the lively evening atmosphere.
