Designed by Nick Faldo and Desmond Muirhead, this superb 18 hole parkland course at Emerald Golf Club has been carved into a natural forest which means any stray shots will be heavily punished. The gentle contours of the fairways and volcanic-like greens make this one of the most challenging golf courses in Thailand. The Clubhouse is small but charming and has an open-air restaurant on-site, creating a nice ambience for your post-round drink

Set amongst meandering hillsides and an almost jungle setting, Emerald Golf Club boasts a course that will certainly test your accuracy off the tee. Having been carved through a virgin forest, the course is littered with full-grown trees which will punish any wayward shots. Thankfully, there are few other hazards to trouble you on your round, but you will run into a few water traps and some tricky par 3s to put all your golf skills to the test.
