The Indiana Course Style: Desert / Championship | Designer: Peter McEvoy | Par: 72
The Indiana Course is widely regarded as one of Spain’s top golf courses and is a regular host of DP World Tour Qualifying School, highlighting its elite playing standards. Maintained to an exceptional level year-round, the course is particularly known for its superb greens and tournament-quality surfaces.
Inspired by the desert courses of Arizona and California, the layout features dramatic scenery, strategic bunkering, and risk-and-reward opportunities throughout. Accuracy and course management are key, while the welcoming atmosphere ensures an enjoyable experience for both low and mid-handicap golfers.
Aguilon Golf Club Style: Desert / Mountain | Designer: Global Golf Company | Par: 70
Located just a short distance from the resort, Aguilon Golf Club provides a contrasting yet equally memorable test. Set within a dramatic mountain landscape, the course features narrow fairways, natural ravines and over 100 strategically placed bunkers, demanding precision from the tee.
With stunning views of the surrounding sierras and the Mediterranean beyond, Aguilon offers a more rugged and visually striking experience, complementing the Indiana Course perfectly and adding further variety to any golf break.

Our View
This is one of the most unique golf resorts in Spain, offering true desert-style golf alongside excellent accommodation and strong off-course facilities. With its championship pedigree, year-round sunshine, and relaxed atmosphere, it is an outstanding choice for golfers seeking something different from the traditional Spanish golf holiday.
The Indiana Course
A classic Peter McEvoy design, the Indiana Course was the first desert-style course to be opened in Europe. The layout provides a true desert golf experience with many of the typical hazards you would expect including a number of springs, watercourses, dry river beds, rocks and cacti. It has been likened to layouts you may expect to find in Arizona and California. The course is kept to a very high standard with the greens emulating those you many find on a course played in Tour events.
