We-Ko-Pa Golf Club overview
We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, owned by the For McDowell Yavapai Nation, draws inspirations from their culture in the design of the clubhouse. A canyon-like entrance followed by water and fire features seem to blend in effortlessly with the beautiful natural surroundings. Floor to ceiling windows allow for sweeping views of the mountains.
Inside the stacked stone building, there is a pro shop and the We-Ko-Pa Grille, a great place to grab a drink or bite to eat after a round. Additionally, there is the Saguaro Grille which is conveniently located next to the Saguaro Course.
Outside, the practice facility features unlimited premium practice balls, four putting greens, a chipping area with practice bunker, and numerous club cleaning stations.

We-Ko-Pa Golf Club offers two scenic and natural golf courses. The Cholla Course was the first to open in 2001 while the Saguaro Course opened five years later in 2006. Both courses are completely void of homes and other development, allowing golfers to sink into the scenic and beautiful natural surroundings.

Saguaro Course
A Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw design, the Saguaro Course opened five years after the original Cholla Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club and quickly developed a similar excellent reputation. The layout provides sweeping mountain views and is built into the natural landscape of the area, offering elevation changes throughout the course. Golfers will find the fairways to be a bit wider on this par-71, 6966 yard course when compared with the traditional target-golf designs in the desert.
Cholla Course
Located at the We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, the Cholla Course offers one of the most natural golfing experiences in Scottsdale. The course, void of any homes or other development, is surrounded by mountains and winds through desert ridges and arroyos. The layout measures 7225 yards from the back tees but offers five tee boxes to ensure golfers of all abilities can enjoy the scenic and challenging Cholla Course.
