Charleston National Golf Course overview
Originally constructed to be a private country club à la Augusta National, designer Rees Jones reconfigured Charleston National to be the finest coastal golf course in the area. This semi-private course is the only Rees Jones design in Charleston which is open to the public. Carved through natural wetlands, lagoons, pine and oak tree forests, this 18-hole championship golf course offers extraordinary views and is an exceptional test for all skill levels.
The course plays just over 7,100 yards from the tips, but also offers four other tee options to accommodate every golfer. A scenic start to the round, the first four holes play along the marsh before heading back inland through the oak and pine forests. The first three holes on the back-nine bring you into the woodland setting, before heading towards the coast to play the final six holes through the 'Low Country' marshland.
