Designed to follow the natural contours of the landscape, the routing flows effortlessly across rolling terrain, with elevated tees providing panoramic views across the Atlantic. Multiple tee options make the course playable for a range of abilities, while still offering a championship-level test from the back markers.

West Cliffs is defined by movement and variety. Elevation changes are a constant feature, influencing both club selection and shot shape. Many holes play along ridgelines or through valleys between dunes, creating natural amphitheatres and dramatic sightlines. Bunkering is bold and visually intimidating, strategically positioned to shape decision-making rather than simply punish wayward shots. Large, undulating greens require confident putting and careful distance control, particularly when exposed to coastal winds.
