Vietnam Golf & Country Club overview
Located 20km’s from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Golf & Country Club is one of the closest golf clubs to the city and is considered as Vietnam’s premier golf facility. This 36-hole golf resort is set amongst 300 hectares of woodland and features two exceptional 18-hole golf courses, the East Course and the West Course.
In addition to the golf, facilities at the resort include swimming pools, tennis courts, gym, squash court, as well as an international restaurant at the clubhouse. This ensures you can spend your whole day at the club at your leisure to enjoy the many facilities.
Golf Courses
The West Course was opened for play in 1994 and is the oldest of the two layouts at Vietnam Golf & Country Club. It was designed by Chen King Shih, a Taiwanese golf architect, and is a classic resort-style course, with a traditional par-72 with tree-lined fairways and water hazards aplenty.
The second layout, the East Course, is considered the best of the two on-site and was designed by six-time major winner Lee Trevino in 1997. Although it has wider fairways than its older sibling, The East is no less tricky. It has undulating Bermuda greens, lots of water, and strategically placed bunkers throughout.

The East Course is a former host of the Asian Tour’s Vietnam Hana Bank Masters (2008) when Thongchai Jaidee claimed victory in a playoff.

East course
Designed by six-time major winner Lee Trevino and opened in 1997, the East Course at Vietnam GCC is a beautiful par-72 layouts measuring at 7,100 yards from the back tees. It is considered as one of Vietnam’s best golf courses and even hosted the Vietnam Hana Bank Masters in 2008, adding to the golf club’s already brilliant reputation.
West Course
The first course built at Vietnam GCC, the East Course is a brilliant resort style parkland with numerous lakes, narrow tree-lined woodland fairways, and fast greens. It measures at 7,106 yards from the back tees and is very fun to play when staying in Ho Chi Minh city centre.
