Golf Club Overview
The Red Course is the oldest and most prestigious course at Frilford Heath. Measuring just over 7,000 yards from the back tees, this course offers guests a traditional heathland experience, with the accuracy required to hit the fairways and challenging fast running greens.
Despite being the shortest of the three courses, The Green Course measures just over 6,000 yards and proves to be a real test of accuracy. The first tee is the only par five of the round, followed by a number of par 3’s including the outstanding second and sixth. The back nine is tough with several tricky par 4’s, however, the opportunities to score birdies and par are still present.
One of the newest addition to Frilford Heath was the Blue Course in 1994. Made up of features that can be found on both the Red and Green courses, the latest instalment sees a daunting 600-yard hole on the 17th requiring both accuracy and power with a good first drive off the tee.
Opened in 2017, the Yellow course features Huxley Golf all-weather surfaces to cater for all abilities. Split into two loops of three holes each, the second loop is slightly tougher than the first. The design was a collaborative effort between Huxley Golf and our own Sid Arrowsmith. The six greens all measure 1350 sq. ft, but are all unique in shape and undulations.
