Owing to its positioning south of the equator, the summer months in Mauritius are between November-April, making it the perfect end or start of season golfing holiday from the UK.

For something truly memorable, be sure to visit Le Morne Brabant. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a symbol of the island’s slave’s fight for freedom. Slaves on the island were known to run away to the caves and forests around Le Morne Mountain where they lived in incredibly testing conditions. There are several miles of hiking trails here, with walkers again able to pass through some of the most historic areas around Le Morne following recent conservation efforts carried out by the World Heritage Centre.
