Pete Dye Resort Course overview
Opening in 1970, the Pete Dye Resort Course is one of the two courses at The Westin Mission Hills Resort. This par 70 layout surrounds the hotel and offers a great challenge, with all of Pete Dye’s favorite elements involved in the design. Railroad ties, pot bunkers, elevated tees and difficult hidden pin positions are found throughout, and while there are only four water holes on the course, each requires a shot over the hazard to add to the challenge.
At just under 7000 yards from the tips and with five teeing options in total, it is a great challenge to all golfers, and definitely one to include in a Palm Springs golf vacation.
