Overview

The Slammer & Squire is located near Jacksonville and is one of St. Augustine's favourite layouts. This 18-hole championship resort course was designed by Bobby Weed with design consultants Sam "The Slammer" Snead and Gene "The Squire" Sarazen and is one of the most highly rated in the area.

The Slammer & Squire Golf Course is located in the heart of the World Golf Village, offering picturesque views across the whole resort. Officially opened to the public in May 1998, The Slammer & Squire features two distinct nines with generous fairways, contoured greens, and plenty of water hazards along with impressive views of the World Golf Hall of Fame. The course was the host site of the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, a Senior PGA TOUR EVENT and is widely regarded as a must-play for a Florida golf tour.

Compared to the King and Bear, the Slammer and Squire course is about 400 yards shorter, with wider fairways and less prominent water hazards. The two nines both offer a unique experience, with the links-style front nine cutting through forest and swampland while the back nine remains more open.
