Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

Widely considered one of the world’s leading venues and a shoo-in for our best golf resorts in the Caribbean list, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is an amazing complex for games and sport enthusiasts. A fantastic five-star hotel, a wonderful choice of private villas, 63 holes of golf created by the famous Pete Dye and a private beach are just a few of the superb facilities that complete this resort.

Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, Dominican Republic

The golf offering at Casa de Campo is nothing short of spectacular. Three Pete Dye designed courses make up this fantastic offering, with the Teeth of The Dog being the top-ranked course in the Caribbean and 43rd in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 courses worldwide. The Dye Fore course features 27-holes; seven of which lie 300 feet above the Chavon River and offer breath-taking 360-degree views from the cliff top.

The Links, located on the interior of the property, is a beautiful inland course. The course meanders its way through the resort property and features small greens which are very well protected by Dye’s famous “wave” bunkers. It is an exceptional course and is reminiscent of traditional British courses.

If you want to venture out of the resort, excursions such as Cave exploration, tours of the Capital Santo Domingo and Catamaran day trips to Catilina island are among some of the favourites.

Royal Westmoreland

Royal Westmoreland, Barbados

Royal Westmoreland is a wonderful par-72 championship course of unrivaled beauty, with every hole offering a view of the nearby shimmering ocean. Without a doubt, it provides some of the very best golf in Barbados. Major Champion and successful Ryder Cup Captain Ian Woosnam declares the course to have some of the best par 3’s he has ever played.

For a small island, Barbados boasts a variety of activities close by – from surfing at Bathsheba, to basking in the clear waters of the West coast. All the beaches are public and free to explore, with plenty of fun bars and restaurants close by to experience some of the local culture.

Iberostar Bávaro

The Iberostar Bávaro Hotel is a five-star all-inclusive resort located on the famous Bávaro Beach in Punta Cana and is perfect for golfers who like to relax by the pool or indulge in the spa. Other facilities at the hotel include a spa, fitness centre, shopping centre and a large pool overlooking the beach. In the evening, you can enjoy a night at the casino, enjoy one of seven restaurants, or dance the night away in the resort’s nightclub.

The accommodation consists of Polo Villas - nestled around a beautiful lake and central swimming pool, near to a polo field – or the stunning Garden Wall Villas which are located on the course, overlooking the pristine fairways.

Apes Hill Golf Course

Apes Hill Golf Club was designed by Chris Cole and Jeff Potts, and is a spectacular yet challenging display of golf. The most advanced golfers will enjoy 7,150 yards from the back tees, while the front tees cover just over 5,000 yards. The holes themselves are as varied and unique as the site itself with undulating putting surfaces and sharply edged bunkers.
