    About Sandy Lane 5*

Sandy Lane represents the ultimate in comfort, elegance and five-diamond service. With luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, a magnificent spa, floodlit tennis courses, 45 holes of championship golf and an exciting children’s program, the resort will anticipate your needs and surpass your expectations.

    Golf Courses

The Sandy Lane golf experience promises something for everyone – regardless of skill level. It has three distinct courses that offer 45 holes of truly exceptional golf.

Built in 1961, The Old Nine was the first course built on the estate, and is a favourite with repeat guests to the property. It is a 0-hole course that is quite demanding due to its small landing areas.

The County Club, designed by Tom Fazio, is a challenging 18-hole layout, over 7,000 yards long and its features are its immaculately kept fairways and greens, along with stunning coastal views.

Last but not least, The Green Monkey, also designed by Fazio, is something spectacular. It is carved into rock which created amazing backdrops and views on some of its stunning holes. What makes this course special is its exclusivity, and the fact that it only allows for limited tee-times each day, meaning that you will feel like a billionaire whilst playing.

Sandy Lane is located on the western coast of the island of Barbados and sits on 1,000 feet of white, coral-sand beach beside the   sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea.  The resort is approximately a 35-minute drive from the Grantley Adams International Airport
