Golf Courses

Blackwolf Run Golf Club is within walking distance of The American Club and features two stunning 18-hole courses. The River Course is the highlight here with steeply banked tree-lined fairways and dramatic elevation changes. Whistling Straits is 15- minutes’ drive away and home to two courses – The Irish and The Straits. The Straits Course held the PGA Championship in 2004 & 2010 and is one of the toughest tests in golf.

From fine dining to casual, guests can select from a number of gourmet delights in the village of Kohler – several of which are located within The American Club. ‘The Immigrant Restaurant’ offers contemporary cuisine where jackets are required for gentlemen. ‘The Horse & Plow’ is a casual pub located in Kohler that serves premium beers and great food in a relaxed setting.

Kohler Waters Spa is located next to The American Club and offers a relaxing environment after your round of golf. Location

The American Club is based in Kohler, Wisconsin in the North-Central United States next to the stunning Lake Michigan. The nearest airport is Milwaukee General Mitchell located an hours’ drive south of Kohler.

There are no direct flights, however, there are numerous one-stop flights daily that involve connections at either Chicago or Atlanta. Overall flight time is around 13 hours.
