Panoramic vistas & Championship golf await on a Cape Town golf holiday

When it comes to Cape Town golf courses, there are no drawbacks; it has an abundance of golf courses all within the Western Cape province, some of which are considered to be the best in South Africa. Arabella, for example, is set on the edge of the Bot River lagoon and its combination of links and parkland holes makes for an exciting round of golf. With many tight fairways and big bunkers, you need length and accuracy to play well around here.

De Zalze Golf Club is another highly rated golf course designed by Peter Matkovich, it is an example of golfing perfection. The course is incredibly well-maintained, and the design is fantastic as it makes you think your way around to avoid the bunkers and water hazards. Royal Cape is located close to the city centre and is the oldest course in South Africa. A stern test for any golfer, this course can be quite a handful if the winds pick up however, you can always guarantee to play it in great condition with manicured fairways and USGA standard greens.
