Overall our stay at the royal Westmorland was a good one and we enjoyed our holiday. The golf course was a challenge on some holes but not too testing and in fantastic condition. The staff were brilliant everywhere. The resort was very well looked after and clean. The spa was closed when we went as they had no one to run it although we found plenty of other ways to pass our time when not golfing. There are some amazing beaches and wonderful restaurants. Our main disappointment was our accommodation we had a 1 bed royal apartment which was nothing like the pictures we had seen on the website, we had a ground floor apartment which looked over a bit of garden and a tall hedge , it also had a very small bathroom not as shown on the plans of the apartment. On the plus side the bed was very large and comfortable so we did sleep well. I would also say to anyone that if you have a four seater buggy on your contract make sure you get one when you arrive. We were told we had to pay if we wanted one and so was left without transport for the next day until our hire car arrived missing our first round of golf which was a shotgun at 8 am We had no way of getting our clubs accross to the golf club . We did go to customer services who then agreed we should have one included and eventually we were brought one. We did have a look around the three bed room villas and they were amazing if anyone is thinking of booking one of these.
