The Rookery Course

Recently re-designed by Robert Cupp Jr. Big greens, wide fairways and the occasional waste bunker characterise The Rookery. The course seems to begin with a few easy holes with a pair of short par 4s and a par 3 before the challenge starts at the 449-yard 5th hole, the No. 1 stroke index hole. The largest lake on the course guards the right side of the fairway on the 578-yard par-5 9th hole with more water left of the green. The signature hole has to be the 18th- a long 441-yard par 4; a forced carry over water off the tee, leaving you with a long iron or hybrid to hit the green - a great risk and reward hole to end the day.
