Paarl Golf Club overview

Paarl Golf Club was formed in September 1908 but moved to its current location in 1955, the course now uses the Berg River beautifully, winding its way along the northeastern edge of the property. The beautiful scenery on show creates an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a round of golf.

The club also features great practice facilities where golfers can hone their skills before the round. As an additional benefit, Paarl Golf Club is situated in the heart of one of South Africa's finest wine-producing regions - the Winelands.

Paarl Golf Course overview

The layout at Paarl Golf Club includes tree-lined fairways, well-positioned bunkers and an array of water hazards. This, coupled with large and well-undulated bent grass greens, four different tee boxes and a number of interesting approach shots, create a good test to all level of golfers.

There have been radical changes since 1997 with the development of an additional nine holes, turning Paarl Golf Club into the Western Cape’s first 27-hole facility.
