    Mixed feelings. Location, staff, food and service generally good. However could do with a refurb - haven't seen a tv like the one in our room in years. Felt like we were back in the 1990s which had a particular charm until we stayed in superior hotel in cork for same price - different class.

    Excellent position.
    More geared for large parties than individuals, so for instance breakfast was not particularly relaxing.

    However, we would stay there again as we enjoyed being able to walk into town to the many restaurants and bars.
