Whistling Straits: An authentic links test... 

Bestowed a beautiful location, on the edge of Lake Michigan, Whistling Straits is one of America’s greatest championship courses. Crafted from an uninspiring strip of a disused airfield, Pete Dye has done a remarkable job transforming the Wisconsin venue into an authentic links test. Such is the standard of the Straits Course that Whistling Straits has already played host to three US PGA championships, as well as the US Senior Open in 2007, with the world's best players universally agreeing that the layout is one of the finest on the planet. With plenty of dramatic holes set hard against Lake Michigan, the course is guaranteed to serve up plenty of drama come the 2020 Ryder Cup. You don’t want to miss it…
