The Inn at Sea Island

The Inn at Sea Island Resort is the latest accommodation option to have been added to the property. It features 85 well-appointed guest rooms and gives access to the three championship golf courses – Seaside, Plantation and Retreat.

It is very well located to explore the local area and by upgrading to ‘Resort Access’ guests can enjoy further amenities found at The Inn’s sister properties The Cloister and The Lodge along with The Spa at Sea Island, Fitness Center and the Sea Island Golf Club and Golf Performance Center.

Golf Courses

There are three courses onsite at Sea Island: The Seaside Course, Plantation, and the Retreat. The most famous is the Seaside which is regularly ranked in the top in the United States, and along with its sister, the Plantation Course, they annually host the PGA TOUR’s RSM Classic. The Retreat Course is the lesser-known of the three, redesigned by Davis Love III and his brother in 2001, the Retreat is very playable and often a great place to warm up on a Sea Island golf vacation.

Accommodation

The rooms at The Inn are comfortable and refreshing with plenty of space in which to relax. Generous bathrooms feature a walk-in shower or tub and a selection of BeeKind products.

Restaurant & Bars

The Inn has an onsite bar which offers an evening service. Guests of The Inn that purchase ‘Resort Access’ then have the option to dine at the various restaurants at both The Cloister and The Lodge properties. For those who are happy to head off property for the evening, the area of St Simons has a variety of eateries and bars to choose from.

Spa & Leisure

The Inn has a heated pool, work-out room and complimentary bicycles for guests to enjoy at no additional cost. Upgrading to ‘Resort Access’ gives access to many of the Sea Island facilities found at The Inn’s sister properties The Cloister and The Lodge along with The Spa at Sea Island, Fitness Center and the Sea Island Golf Club and Golf Performance Center.

Location

Sea Island is part of a chain of barrier islands on the Atlantic coast of Georgia. It is an hour to the north of Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) and an hour and a 15-minute drive south of Savannah International Airport (SAV).

Post Round

Following a round at the Seaside or Plantation Courses, there is no better place to sit for a post-round drink than at the back of The Lodge, overlooking the huge putting green and the St Simons Sound waterway.
