Pinehurst No. 2 Course overview
Signature Holes
The 18th on Pinehurst No. 2 is probably the most iconic on the golf course. A long par-4 played slightly uphill to an elevated green. From the tee, you either play short of the fairway crest which leaves a long, blind approach or carry to the top of the hill and are left with a short iron into the green. It’s a great finish, made even more so by the famous statue of the late Payne Stewart immortalizing the fist-pump he gave as he holed the winning putt in the 1999 U.S. Open.
