Half Moon Golf Course
The Half Moon Golf Course opened in 1962, was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., and has since been modernised by Roger Rulewich in 2004–2005. The golf course has hosted various tournaments, including the European PGA Senior Tour and the Jamaica Open since 2007. The course offers a classic par 72 layout with a range of yardages from 5,148 to 7,119 yards from the back tees. It caters to both relaxed games from the front tees and challenging play from the back tees. Additionally, it is known for its scenic views and is considered one of the top walking courses in Jamaica.
The clubhouse offers a well-stocked pro shop and the 19th hole bar, as well as 20 grassed practice bays, a bunker practice green, a putting green, and a 50-yard pitching green for guests to enjoy at their leisure.
Accommodation
The Half Moon Resort is home to a stunning selection of luxury rooms, suites, and villas. No matter which accommodation you choose, you can rest assured that you'll have a comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities, including Wi-Fi and a TV.
Eclipse is the first accommodation selection, which hosts 57 rooms and suites. These rooms include the great house ocean room, the eclipse ocean room, and the estate ocean rooms. This accommodation is located in the heart of the resort and comes in either one or two bedroom and bathroom options.
Founders Cove at Half Moon Resort offers ten cottages with rooms, suites and prestige suites. The cottages are all equipped with one king bed and either two twin or double beds and complemented by either garden or ocean views.
The final accommodation type is the Rose Hall Villas, a collection of twenty-eight villas with individual styles ranging from five to seven bedrooms. Perfect for groups, these villas are self-catering and come with full access to resort facilities as well as their own private pool and stunning views.
Restaurant & Bars

The Half Moon has 2 miles of beach front and offers a wide range of water programs. Included in the stay are kayaking, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and snorkelling. Also on offer for an extra charge are sailing, motorised water sports, and scuba diving. Half Moon also has an equestrian centre, offering pony rides, basic lessons, sand strolls, and Turf & Surf, where you can ride your horse bareback and swim in the ocean. Private lessons are also available.

The Half Moon Golf Course
Opened in 1964, this course has become a true masterpiece over the years, having been described as Jamaica’s Augusta due to its immaculate fairways and peaceful natural setting. As one of the best walking courses in the Caribbean, it offers golfers a wonderful round of golf.
