The Marco Simone Golf Course is an 18-hole championship laid out by Jim Fazio in the 1980s and is set in over 200 acres of parkland. The Club's grounds are set in a beautiful historic estate, including an 11th-century castle and one of the largest clubhouses in Europe, summarising golf in Italy best.
A former host of the Italian Open, the Marco Simone Course has been redesigned with a new playing route for the 2023 Ryder Cup, in collaboration with Tom Fazio II (son of architect Jim Fazio who designed the original Marco Simone Golf Club course) and European Golf Design. The Course is challenging with unparalleled views of lakes, the Marco Simone Castle and Saint Peters dome, providing guests with a unique yet classic Italian setting to enjoy.
The Club also offers the outstanding 9-hole Resort Course. Enjoyable for all levels of golfer, it is the perfect compliment to the Championship Course, often played back to back to make 18 holes. There are also impressive practice facilities, including a driving range with 3 terraces, for those wishing to sharpen their game.
The 19th hole has panoramic views for you to indulge in a post round drink. The clubhouse also hosts the “On The Green” restaurant serving a contemporary Italian menu.
