Streamsong Red Course overview
Incomparable to any course you’ve ever played before, Streamsong Red, designed by the illustrious Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, manages to create an out-of-Florida experience for golfers; with its plush Bermuda grass fairways meandering through glittering lakes, strategically designed sand dunes and natural bunkers.
Echoing Streamsong’s visionary use of the land recovery process, each of the sand dunes as a result conveniently rises dramatically making for tougher challenges and exciting diversity in contour. Ranked as one of Florida’s best courses, this 18-hole masterpiece pleasantly surprises golfers of all levels as one of the most inspiring and unusual landforms in the golfing world. The first hole is a tough starter, but a favorite among golfers are the finishing 16th, 17th and 18th holes which evoke character and charm.
Signature Holes
It’s hard to pick just one, but the 16th is a stunning par-3 played over a vast expanse of water to a nearly 60-yard long green and a dramatic swale collection area to the left. The deep bunkering and lake made it a tough shot to get close.
