Streamsong Black Course overview
The vast landscape at Streamsong Black offers magnificent panoramic views across the property. This course is an entirely different test to typical Florida courses; rather than artificial water features and housing developments, there are rugged dunes and expansive sandy areas. Despite Streamsong Black being located between the Red and Blue courses, the land is totally different. This Gil Hanse design is far more expansive than the other courses and has more wasteland areas throughout. The greens on this layout are extensive and massively undulating, creating a stern but enjoyable test once you find the putting surface.
Streamsong Black boasts a stylish clubhouse alongside state-of-the-art golf facilities. Complete with a two-acre putting course and an impressive 7-hole practice area, there is no excuse for lack of preparation here. After the round, the putting green provides the perfect environment for a competition between friends.
Signature Holes
The 18th hole on Streamsong Black is a long par-5 and is definitely up there with the best finishing holes in the state. At 586 yards off the back tees, it is a three-shotter for most. Playing up the left side with your second shot, the approach to the green is then guarded by water. There’s plenty of risk versus reward on this challenging final hole.
