Charleston & Kiawah Island golf travel tips

• Best time to visit: Spring and fall are ideal, with warm weather, comfortable playing conditions and excellent course presentation. March to May and September to November are especially popular.
• How long to stay: Three nights works well, giving you time for three or four rounds while still enjoying Charleston’s restaurants, history and waterfront atmosphere.
• Extra tip: Leave time away from the course. Charleston is one of the Southeast’s best destinations for combining golf with food, history and coastal scenery.
