Fazio Foothills Course overview
Designed by Tom Fazio and Roy Bechtol in 1986, Fazio Foothills at Omni Barton Creek has become one of the premier courses in the state of Texas. Weaving through the rolling Hill Country landscape, this first-class layout measures just over 7100 yards from the tips and offers five sets of tee boxes to choose from.
Dramatic elevation changes, clever hazards, and beautiful water features are characteristics of this challenging Fazio design. The stunning terrain and tree-lined fairways lend way to breathtaking views of the surrounding area and help enhance what is already an amazing round of golf.
Signature Holes
The Fazio Foothills Course is packed with great golf holes. Two of particular note are the par-3 9th and the par-5 18th. The 9th hole demands an accurate tee shot played across a ravine to a deep and narrow green. The 18th is a long uphill par-5 which features a hidden cave just short of the green and the impressive Barton Creek Resort as its backdrop.
