Southport beach

With exceptional views of the coast, Southport beach is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the town, soak up the golden sands and unwind by the seaside. It’s also just a short walk away from the town centre, so you’re not far from restaurants, hotels and top attractions. Southport also proudly boasts a huge number of independent restaurants, cafes and tearooms, so you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Nearby Churchtown and Birkdale also have lots of boutique shops, and bars as well as quaint cottages with thatched roofs.

West Sands Beach

Visit the famous West Sands Beach for a chance to escape, discover the fascinating medieval St Andrew’s Cathedral and Castle, or savour lowland single malt Scotch whiskey at Kingsbarns whiskey distillery. You can even go on a food tour which visits five locations where you’ll taste lip-smacking locally sourced food and drink.

St Andrews Links, Old course

Cornwall cottages

A hotbed of British golf, Cornwall also has a rich history and unique heritage, so you can visit some of the many museums and castles. We recommend a trip to St Michael’s Mount with its medieval castle and sub-tropical gardens. Of course, your stay is not complete before trying a mouth-watering Cornish pasty!
