Orchardleigh Estate Golf & Country Club

Wiltshire, England

Built in 1856 by Arthur Duckworth, the house was lived in by five generations of descendants before the Vincent Family bought it with the aim of restoring the Estate to the excellent standard it is today.

Golf Courses

The 18-hole course designed by Brian Huggett is 6824 yards, and is par-72 for men and 73 for ladies. The parkland course is within the Estate, and provides a challenge with mature trees and the lake which comes into play on the seventh. The excellent course is accompanied by exceptional practice facilities, including a full-length practice range, practice bunker, chipping and putting greens.

The House provides accommodation for 91 guests with 41 excellent rooms, and 15 cosy cottages, sleeping from two to 12 persons. The cottage facilities include hot tubs, a fire pit and barbeques. For something a bit different try Orchardleigh’s secluded and romantic Temple Boathouse, complete with a hot tub and amazing views over Orchardleigh Lake.

Restaurant & Bars

The restoration includes a restaurant and late bar in the country club, seating up to 100. The hotel provides exceptional rooms for all, as well as the cottages which provide a more homely feel.

Spa & Leisure

After using the free gym facilities be sure to book a spa treatment which can be arranged for you in your room.

Located 10-miles south of Bath, 5-minutes from the A36, and 8-minutes from Frome Station, the Estate is very accessible.

On Site Activities

When not in the room guests have the opportunity to try something new with outside activities and pursuits such as clay pigeon shooting.

If wanting a change from the onsite activities, the area surrounding the estate is full of historic or interesting activities. Bath's Roman baths amongst the shops are only a short drive away whilst, a little a further field is the world famous Stonehenge.
