Experience the best of desert golf
Tucson, Arizona is one of our favourite golf destinations in the USA. Located south of Phoenix, it’s an exciting city with rich green golf courses set amongst desert landscapes and mountain vistas. The most popular resorts and courses around the city include Jack Nicklaus’ Dove Mountain and Omni Tucson National, both complexes provide exceptionally golfing facilities and exciting courses. It's little wonder golf holidays in Tucson are so popular.
Why book a golf holiday in Tucson?
- It is easily accessible from the UK, fly direct into Phoenix, then just a 1hr 40 min drive

What makes a golf holiday in Arizona so special?
Once a host to the Accenture Matchplay Championship event, the golf club at Dove Mountain is made up of three loops of nine. The Saguaro and Tortolita loops are the best and most challenging combination with the Wild Burro loop being slightly more accommodating for the novice golfer. Each loop resembles a green oasis amongst the desert wasteland that it’s built-in, we’re certain you’ll have never played from fairways so green!
The Catalina course at Omni Tucson National is a stroke of genius from designers Robert Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin, whose course optimises golf in Arizona. It’s long for starters, measuring over 7,000 yards and features plenty of elevation around the course along with hosting more than 30 PGA TOUR events. Throughout your round, be sure to take in the impressive scenery and mountainous backdrops.
