Ljunghusen Golf Club is one of Sweden's oldest, and was founded in 1932 and in 1965 became the first in the country to have 27 holes. The course is one of the country's few genuine links. It borders a large nature-protected wetland shed and is located in a nature reserve just meters from the white sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea.

The layout at Ljunghusens Golf Club boasts 27 holes of links golf that has hosted a number of Swedish and International Championships, including eight Challenge Tour events. The course is built on a surface of sand from the time when the landscape was the seabed, this provides for a very dry course that is usually playable year-round. The range of impressive and challenging holes allows for an all-round fantastic golfing experience.
