Newark Golf Club overview

Newark Golf Club is a charming course which meanders its way through a mixture of wooded and heathland terrain. The Nottinghamshire venue has seen constant improvement and developments over the years, with Ken Brown among the influential figures to have advised on the layout. Golfers can enjoy a refreshing drink in the clubhouse after an enjoyable round whilst taking in the beautiful views that surround the club.

Golf Course at Newark Golf Club

Founded in 1901, Newark Golf Club is one of the oldest golf courses in the Midlands. An interesting mix of heathland and woodland holes makes for a varied test, and golfers will discover a beautiful layout nestled amid the rolling Nottinghamshire countryside. With trees lining many of the holes, there is a precedence on accuracy over length, although golfers will need both on occasions if they wish to score well.
