Longhirst Hall Golf Club
Longhirst Hall Golf Club is ideally situated in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, near quaint towns including Morpeth and Ashington. As it has two championship quality golf courses, The Dawson and The Lakes, it’s ideal for larger groups and golfers who are looking to squeeze in two rounds in a day, however, to be ready for the golf it’s advised golfers take advantage of the excellent practice facilities to warm up their swings.
The Clubhouse is the central hub of the golf club where golfers can boast or laugh about their golfing ability and allows them to enjoy a fresh coffee for those early morning starts. Once you’ve finished your round it’s time to sit down and relax with a post-round drink, watching the major sporting events live throughout the day including golf majors and Premier League football. The food available at Longhirst Hall Golf Club will take your mind away from any of your woes on the course as you can tuck into a variety of lunchtime bites to Sunday roasts and pub classics.

The Lakes Course
The wonderful par-72 Lakes Course plays to 6572 yards from the championship tees. Set within 180 acres of Northumberland countryside the course design is based around an 'American Style' ethos, with plenty of water to catch anyone not hitting straight from the tee. The famous Longhirst wildlife inhabits the many lakes that frame the fairways, so you can share surroundings with plenty of ducks, geese and swans whilst you search for the other birdies.
The Dawson Course
The Dawson Course offers a different challenge to the championship course at Longhirst. Measuring 6713 yards from the white tees, it is actually longer but the holes have been modelled to create wider fairways and large greens to contrast with the more demanding championship course. Extended from the original 9-holes of the Blueberry Course, the Dawson Course is a great addition to this golfing complex.
