No. 7 Course, Pinehurst Golf
North Carolina, USA
Rees Jones built Pinehurst No. 7 in 1986, on the site of an abandoned nine-hole employee course, and it is set on some of Pinehurst Resort's most dramatic undulating terrain. Jones, who renovated the course in 2003, built most tees and greens at high points. Challenging shots into elevated greens are abundant here. The golf course plays 7,216 yards, and only No. 2 from the U.S. Open tees plays longer at Pinehurst.
