Golf de Normandie Cote d'Albatre
Golf course overview
Located between Dieppe, Etretat and Rouen, the Golf de Normandie Cote d’Albatre offers practice facilities, a Pitch and Putt and a compact 9 hole course. The highlight of this golf club is the 18-hole course: Les Vallons (par 72), built by the French architect Alain Prat (who also designed the courses of Pléneuf Val-André, Baugé-Pontigne and Gujan-Mestras). The design is easily recognised due to its straight lines, which makes it a course favoured by beginners.
The fairways of this course are hilly and wooded and stretch into the heart of the Pays de Caux. The course is a true Parkland course but you can sometimes feel the links spirit with some areas of tall yellow grass on the course. Playing the course will give you the feeling to travel, especially on holes 13 and 18, that will make you forget you’re playing in Normandy.
Overall, the course is challenging in some areas but also very accessible for the average player. If you have to play with the natural elements like rain and wind, the course will get tougher.
