Marrakech, Morocco

The legendary Es Saadi Gardens & Resort is famed for its celebrity guests and 1950’s feel which transports guests to a different, but stylish time period. The hotel is in a tranquil, yet central location for visitors to Marrakech, who also want to experience the heart of the city. The hotel has gourmet restaurants and devoted staff which add to the luxurious atmosphere.

Golf Courses

Marrakech, like most of Morocco, has a good selection of excellent golf courses. For example, Assoufid Golf Club, which is one of the most anticipated golf clubs in Marrakech, is very close to the resort. An equally impressive club nearby is Samanah Golf Club, with its Jack Nicklaus designed course and large clubhouse. Slightly further out of the city but, worth it, is PalmGolf Marrakech Ourika. The course is a must-play on any Moroccan golf holiday with its superb layout, beautiful palm trees and picturesque views over the Atlas Mountains.

The Es Saadi Gardens & Resort is a well-established 5-star hotel in the heart of the amazing city of Marrakech. Based in the residential district of Hivernage, the hotel, with its 149 rooms/suites, 84 palace suites, 10 villas, and eight ksars, manages to provide a tranquil break from the busy city with its relaxing atmosphere and 20 acres of gardens to explore.

Restaurant & Bars

The hotel is family owned and prides itself on its environmentally-friendly approach, including their organic fruit and vegetables from “Le Bled”, their own organic farm and the water recycling plant which provides water for the gardens. All their poultry is free-range and all bread, cooking and pastry flour and chocolate is made in-house.

The Es Saadi Gardens & Resort hosts a plethora of exceptional dining options from breakfast to dinner, with menus from the Mediterranean, France and of course, Morocco. Along with exceptional food, the hotel provides amazing drinks and bar spaces including a pool bar, the lobby bar, and a late-night piano bar. The resort is also famous for having one of the first casinos opened in Africa, “Casino de Marrakech”, which was renovated in 2011 to provide excitement for hotel guests and the locals of Marrakech. The resort has excellent nightlife, with two onsite nightclubs.

Spa & Leisure

The resort homes the largest spa in Marrakech, with a unique holistic philosophy and a space centred around a centuries-old tree bathed in sunlight and nature. The spa has Moroccan hammams, Vichy showers, a Phyto salon, a barbershop, and boutique. Within the spa, there are 12 treatment rooms (single and double) and an extensive fitness area, accompanied by relaxation rooms, and a 1,000-sqm terrace with solarium and bar.

Es Saadi Gardens & Resort is a stone’s throw away from the airport (10-minute drive) and the city centre. Therefore, the hotel is perfect for not only experiencing what the bustling city has to offer but also to get to-and-fro from the airport with ease.

On Site Activities

The Palace spa, complete with yoga classes, massages, a beauty centre, Moroccan hammams, and saunas, is also a perfect place to unwind.

The resort has excellent nightlife, with two onsite nightclubs. If you should want to venture out of the resort the Clef d’Or Concierge Service can arrange activities such as hot air ballooning, helicopter flights, and horse-drawn carriage rides through the town. When not being entertained by the excellent resort features, you can explore the city of Marrakech, which is home to some amazing sights. For example, The Menara Gardens, The Bahia Palace and The Saadian Tombs are all a short walk away from the hotel and provide an interesting insight into Marrakech’s rich culture and historical heritage.

The concierge of the hotel can also arrange for you to take part in traditional cooking classes, desert escapes for a day or a night, or even travel in a helicopter or on a camel. Anything you wish to do is possible in this great African city.
