Moor Allerton Golf Course, Moor Allerton Golf Club
Moor Allerton boasts three exceptional loops of nine holes all designed by Robert Trent Jones.
The Lakes course is the shortest of the three where a common feature within the course is staying below the pin which will help to score well, so bear this is mind. The Blackmoor course is considered the second longest where the 18th hole stands out, a second shot needs to be tackled before landing on an unforgiving green, which slopes harshly. The third layout is the brilliant High course which stands at 6841 yards in length and is the longest of all three courses at Moor Allerton Golf Club. Watch out for the tight dog leg to the right on the 23rd hole, with care to your tee shot as the fairway is not as long as first thought. Bunkers are prominent on this course, with greens well protected to catch golfers out.
