Lewes Golf Club
Lewes Golf Club overview
The timbered clubhouse at Lewes Golf Club overlooks the historical town of Lewes. Built atop chalk hills in the heart of Sussex, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere are what make this clubhouse so idyllic. Panoramic views compliment the quality of the golf course through the rolling countryside of the south coast.
Golf Course at Lewes Golf Club
The traditional test on the downland course at Lewes Golf Club is an elevated challenge with the wind often prevailing as an extra hazard. Due to the geography of the layout being built on chalk soil there is no need for temporary greens and tees over the winter period, so golfers can enjoy the facilities all year round. At just over 6,200 yards, it is certainly not an easy day out with sloping greens and the undulating fairways providing a variety of ball positions to manoeuvre.
