King Robert the Bruce Course overview

The King Robert the Bruce Course is renowned for offering golf at its best and is frequently listed as one of the must-visit courses in Ayrshire. Consisting of undulating fairways and challenging pot bunkers, this is a tricky round of golf. The elevations, peaks and troughs built into the terrain create beautiful perspectives of the surrounding scenery, as well as adding a stern challenge to your round of golf. However, you are treated to stunning views and relaxing shoreline holes which do offer some respite for the struggling golfer.

Did You Know?

The trademark lighthouse backdrop of the King Robert the Bruce course was built by Treasure Island author Robert Louis Stevenson under the ruins of Turnberry Castle. The medieval castle was the birthplace of King Robert the Bruce in 1274, from which the course is named.
