Overview

The Broome Park Estate was established during the reign of Charles I and has as its centrepiece, a magnificent Mansion House; Grade 1 listed building. The house was completed around 1638 and is one of the finest examples of Carolean architecture in England. The House has been refurbished to its former glory and boasts as one of its many previous owners - Horatio Herbert Kitchener, 1st Earl Kitchener of Khartoum.

Golf Courses

This is a superb 18-hole parkland Golf Course set within the private 268-acre estate, measuring 6587-yards off the championship tees, and a par-72. The course is an excellent test for all ages and levels of golfers. The well-known golf course architect Donald Steel designed the Golf Course and it was opened in 1981. The finishing hole is particularly spectacular, with its views of the hotel.

Accommodation

The Mansion House consists of 18 suites accommodating two to six people, with views varying from the golf course to the Italian Gardens. The hotel also houses 14 contemporary two bedroom lodges with a double bed and twin bed in each room. The lodges also have a living room area with fully fitted kitchen.

Located in the “Garden of England” Broom Park Golf and Country Club is easily accessible from the M2/A2 or M20 travel routes and actually located off the A260.

Broome Park Golf course is a parkland course that rolls through the Broome Park Estate and surrounding countryside, with beautiful views of the surrounding valleys. Posing a firm test for all standards of golfer, it is the final hole that really stands out as it is a dogleg par-5, where the front of the green is guarded by water. This is an enjoyable test of golf, typical of a Donald Steel design.
