There are some outstanding Brittany golf courses to be played on your golf break, all of which are kept in great condition year-round although especially in the spring and summer. Saint-Malo golf course is a track you don’t want to miss, located on the Emerald Coast it’s the biggest course in Brittany covering 250-acres of land, built round the Mirloup Lake meaning many of its picturesque holes have a water feature.

Saint-Laurent is another course which golfers need to check out in Brittany, notable for being a host of the French Professional Championship and the National Open. The tree-lined fairways, devilishly placed bunkers and a multitude of lakes make this one of the trickier Brittany golf courses.

Casinos, seafood & historic villages

A wildly beautiful area of France, Brittany offers so much for you to see and do when you’re not on the fairways. With so many pretty scattered islands, pristine beaches, forests, castles and medieval towns, it is a perfect spot for those seeking nature, history and adventure. Not to mention there is a fantastic array of bars and restaurants offering delicious French cuisine.

If you enjoy history, you must visit Mont-Saint-Michel-Bay where an enormous abbey dominates the top of the mound dating back more than a thousand years. Josselin Castle is also worth checking out.

Alternatively, you can visit one of the most atmospheric settlements in the region which hasn’t changed much since the middle ages, the pretty walled town of Dinan. It boasts medieval buildings and cobbled streets crowd around the banks of the Rance river as well as some really nice cafes and restaurants.
