    Hampshire We enjoy staying at
Excellent facility. Golf very good. Lovely white sandy beach. Room very good, comfortable beds. TV somewhat dated. Small screen. Worth upgrading to Premium level to get Wi-Fi and better tee times for the golf course. Food disappointing. Same starter in all restaurants ie onion soup. Unfortunately my husband had food poisoning in main buffet restaurant on our third night. Also the main buffet restaurant lacks atmosphere. Choice of food was somewhat repetitious. Menus in restaurants were the same throughout our two week stay. It would be good if they were changed on a weekly basis so that menus would have been different for our second week.

Really poor hotel. Very disappointed by the quality of the rooms and the attitude of the customer service staff. The adults only tag has been applied to the older part of the hotel that has had some money spent on a new reception area and pool facilities but very little spent on the rooms. I've stayed in better quality second generation Travelodge rooms. A long way from being 5 star. We upgraded to the Bavaro Palace. Its much better quality but is already showing its age and the rooms are in need of better maintenance - in our room the shower head leaks, the plugs in the sinks don't work, the splash backs are scratched, the jets and lights in the hot tub don't all work - all little things but they add up. The all inclusive package doesn't include WIFI and you have to book restaurants by going in person to customer services - why can't you book them on-line? Everything is priced in US dollars but you can't pay in dollars or cash - they charge you in Dominican Republic pesos and you have to pay by credit card or charge it to your room - and then they charge you in pesos - it all just makes you feel that you are being taken advantage of / ripped off and distracts from your enjoyment of the holiday. Would I go back or recommend it to friends ? - No.
