Hitchin Herts Not really.
Overall a great Venue.lovely and helpful staff unfortunately only one member off staff
to run and take all the Breakfast orders on the Monday which led to a one hour wait unlike Sunday with a help your selves service which work with no complaints. The rooms were adequate and basic .No milk or biscuits.Fortunately the Golf course was a pleasure to play with good drainage.Would I recommend this Venue Yes but more Staff needed on weekdays.A special thank you to the young girl who did her best on Monday 20 th June trying to keep every one happy at Breakfast. Also to a young waiter called Luke who went that extra mile and stayed behind giving my team good service. And finally to the Chef on Sunday night serving freshly cooked food to a high standard.Thank you all who made this a very pleasant and enjoyable two day stay .Yours Sincerely. Terry Pitman.

We were a golf society of 14. Firstly the course is really nice. Tricky but well kept & run by very helpful staff. However...the hotel is very poor. The rooms are small. The beds are so close together in a twin it could be a double. The bar service is slow especially for food. On the first day we waited approx 1hr for sandwiches & burgers & almost missed our tee time! It was the same the following day aswell. The bar is very expensive & the food prices for what you get are horrendous. £13.95 for a 'triple decker club sandwich' which was two slices of bread ( not sure where they got the triple from ??) with chicken, bacon & a bit of lettuce!! The bar closed at 11.30 on a Friday night! If your a group wanting to have a late night drink you can't! Breakfast is ok & the dinner buffet isn't great but will fill you up! I wouldn't recommended the hotel. The course 'yes' but not the hotel. If you do decide to go the best tip is the halfway house is half the price of the hotel & pro shop. Get lunch & your drinks there!
