Situated on the cliffs overlooking Whitsand Bay, the traditional Cornish Manor house is surrounded by some of the most dramatic landscape in Cornwall. The hotel is owned and run by the Philips family who's experience and dedication to service will ensure that you have an excellent stay.
The elegant oak panelled lounge and hall, and the cosy beamed bedrooms add to the friendly ambience of the hotel. Every evening the hotel restaurant serves a splendid three course dinner carefully prepared from a choice of local produce. Evening entertainment is regularly laid on with live music, dances and team quizzes, and of course delicious cream teas are provided throughout the afternoon.
Guests are welcome to use the leisure centre, including an indoor swimming pool, turkish bath, sauna, solarium, gym and a games room with table tennis and pool. Health and beauty treatments are also available. Furthermore, there is a toddlers' play area and even pets are welcome. The hotel is a perfect base for outdoor activities and exploring the area. Idyllic beaches, ideal for surfing, canoeing or walking are only a short stroll away and angling on the Tamar or sea fishing is also available. The picturesque fishing village of Portwrinkle is a two minute walk from the hotel whereas those looking for culture, sight-seeing and shopping can take a short drive to the historic naval city of Plymouth.
