Westerwood Golf Course

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Kilsyth and Campsie Hills, the 6,307 yard, par 71 undulating course was designed by renowned architect Dave Thomas in collaboration with golf legend Seve Ballesteros. The Westerwood is an enthralling course, offering many challenges and features along the way; be sure to make the most of the view looking back down the 17th fairway from the green, as this spectacular view will stay in your memory.

Promising to test every shot in even the biggest of lockers, the mixture of tree-lined and bunkered fairways, as well as the odd water hazard, will require you to stop and think on more than one occasion. Take the signature hole at the 15th for example, known as ‘The Waterfall’: at only 165 yards from the tee, it may not be the longest of par threes but the green is surrounded by trouble that will punish any wayward shot and the 60ft rock face behind the green merely adds to the drama.

Antonine Course

[p]The Antonine golf course at Dullatur Golf Club is a beautiful parkland layout; designed by James Braid, a strong challenge is set that is sure to excite any golfer. The tight fairways are unforgiving and the USGA standard greens are bound to catch you out. No two holes are the same, due to the udulating countryside and well positioned hazards; the signatur hole is the par 5 16th which is certainly one to remember.

Carrickstone Course

The Carrickstone golf course at Dullatur Golf Club is an outstanding course, considered to be one of the best in the area. Also designed by James Braid, it has since been developed further by Dave Thomas to bring it to the standard it is today. With something for everyone, this is a course suitable for most handicaps and the views over the Kilsyth Hill and Campsie Fells is breathtaking. Watch out for the wind as this course is set on a relatively high plateau.
