The West Course at East Sussex National Details

Golf at East Sussex National Golf Hotel and Spa

The East Sussex National Golf Club boasts two excellent courses, the East Course & West Course, and some of the finest practice facilities in Europe, including a 13 acre driving range, pitching areas and three putting greens. Both courses are kept to an extremely high standard and both offer and similar standard test which you would struggle to find elsewhere.

The West Course at East Sussex National

    18 holes, 72 par, 7154 yards. Parkland.

With beautiful scenery to enjoy throughout your round on the West Golf Course, this testing course is slightly narrower and longer than the East course making it a real favourite among visitors to the East Sussex National. The West boasts no fewer than four signature holes, with two of these being the 17th and 18th. The 17th is a demanding par five, where you follow in the footsteps of John Daly at the European Open, thinking back to how he pitched his drive beyond the lone oak tree on the right hand side. Or the 18th, where it is essential to have an accurate drive on to a tree lined fairway, followed by a shot into a heavily guarded green with the backdrop of the magnificent Clubhouse beyond. With plenty of dog-legs and undulating fairways, you’ll find an enjoyable round of golf that will challenge all types of golfer.

The West Course at East Sussex National Location

The East Sussex National Golf Club is idyllically situated in the beautiful town of Uckfield, East Sussex, just a few minutes off of the A26.

    Crockham Hill
Condition of course poor, lack of cutting and definition.
Greens unacceptably bumpy and made worse by sand dressing on some.

    Bedfordshire The love of golf
Why pay the prices where not informed of the course maintenance. Hollow-Tyne, top dress and seeding to the greens spoiled the enjoyment and no reduction in charges. ...!
