Waterford Castle
18 holes, 72 par, 6231 yards. Parkland.A unique island golf course surrounded by the mighty River Suir and accessed by private ferry. Designed by Des Smyth, Waterford Castle Golf Club sits on a 310 acre island enclosed by water. The golf course runs to 6,231 yards and has four major water hazards, on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 16th holes. There is even a Swilken Bridge on the 3rd hole. The views from the golf course are superb and the island can also boast a plethora of wildlife and fauna.
