- Accomodation was good but not overly spacious. However the lodge was only a stones throw from the clubhouse and bar so there wasn't really any need to be stuck in the lodge and there was plenty of outdoor seating. Location was very scenic and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The food was far better than I expected and there was plenty of it. The course was in great condition and played well. However you need a buggy to play it as there are a number of steep climbs. My only criticism was that buggies have to stick to the path which wastes a lot of time. They have a 90 degree rule which means you can travel accross the course to your ball with the buggy but not down the fairways but this still wastes a lot of time. I can understand that they want to keep the course in the best condition but this was in July and the course was firm and buggies left no marks. Overall though a great location, a great course and great value.
