Located in the hills of Fagagna is Villaverde Hotel & Resort, a leading eco-friendly and sustainable venue. First opened in 2016, this hotel has excellent spa and leisure facilities onsite as well as being located on the same complex as a championship golf course.

Golf Courses

Originally opened in 1972, the championship course at Golf Club Udine is a fantastic 18-hole, par-72 venue. The undulating fairways are surrounded by historic oak trees on either side. To add to this, the course offers unparalleled views of the local region.

Villaverde & Golf Club Udine also have excellent practice facilities, from the pro-shop and driving range to the putting greens and practice bunkers.

Opened in 2016, Villaverde Hotel & Resort is unique as it abides by strict eco-friendly and sustainable ideologies. The building incorporates natural light as well as taking advantage of the geothermal properties of the local area to keep their carbon footprint to a minimum.

In total, there are 33 rooms, with types ranging from comfort to suites. All of the bedrooms have a modern feel and offering views of the golf course and the Julian Alps in the distance.

Restaurant & Bars

Although there is just one restaurant onsite, it offers guests traditional cuisine in a modern and spacious area. There is also the option to dine in the clubhouse just a few hundred metres walk from the main hotel.

Located in its own building, the spa and leisure facilities continue the eco-friendly theme that can be seen throughout the hotel. The resort boasts both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a wide range of treatment rooms, a state of the art gym and a sauna, all consisting of fantastic views of the golf course and surrounding area.
